Hello Parents! October 29-November 2, 2018 This week students will be discussing the story "Viva New Jersey." We are working with plot and character. We also with be finishing out our Week 1 - Planet Earth Unit in Studies Weekly and moving on to Week 2 - Earth Unit Studies Weekly which sounds strangely familiar.
Discipline with Purpose Lesson: For the week of Oct. 29 we will learn the skill of "Understanding Rules and The Reasons for Rules" together: What is the rule? Why do we have the rule? What will this rule look/sound like and not look/sound like? Skills are not rules. When rules are not followed there is always a consequence. When a skill is missing, you get another chance to practice the skill.
